Bounce Back

In church two weeks ago there was a guest speaker by the name of John Carter. During his sermon he spoke about people's ability to bounce back is key to their peace and their growth. Bounce back, meaning how quickly you can recover.

A couple of years ago, in the Sunday before Super Bowl Sunday, Terrell Owens broke his ankle...he played in Super Bowl Sunday. I'm sure he got things injected into his ankle, but that doesn't discount T.O's training and workout regimen. He trains all the time...and he's able to recover very quickly because of how conditioned he is.

Consistent reading of the bible and praying should be how we train. Reading and praying prepares us for the unforeseen things ahead. It also allows us to understand that if we ask for forgiveness of our sins, we will be forgiven. And that allows us to walk without that heavy burden of guilt, pain, and hurt on our shoulders. It's time to bounce back, and keep it moving.
