Imagine...

I saw this quote by Woody Allen written on one of my friend's facebook pages, and I just thought I would share it...very interetsing:

In my next life I want to live my life backwards. You start out dead and get that out of that way. Then you wake up in an old people's home feeling better every day. You get kicked out for being too healthy, go collect your pension, and then when you start work you get a gold watch and a party on your first day. You will work for 40 yrs until you are young enough to enjoy your retirement. You party, drink alcohol, and are generally promiscuous, then you are ready for high school. You then go to primary school, you become a kid, you play. You have no responsibilities, you become a baby until you are born. And then you spend your last 9 months floating in luxurious spa like conditions with central heating and room service on tap, larger quarters every day and the VOILA! You finish off as a moment of pleasure! :) what a life.......

Another Kobe Video

Kobe's car jump was believable but I don't know about this. I like Nike's efforts in doing different forms of advertising though.

You gotta eat "defeat" for breakfast

Lately I've been having my portfolio reviewed by a lot of creatives in the advertising industry, and I've been getting some pretty good feedback, but I haven't landed a for sure job yet. I know that things like this don't come easily, but it's definitely frustrating. There's no way I'm giving up though. My brother Kamau told me one time, "If you're scared to take a punch, you'll never win a fight." I think Rocky said that too, in Rocky 10. Seriously though, I know challenges, obstacles, and speed bumps get thrown our way, but we have to keep pushing and take those punches. In the bible, Galatians 6:7 reads, "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

If we've been sowing good seed on good ground, we need to keep fighting so we can be around to reap the benefits of the harvest.

Why no one will ever do the shoe-game like Jordan

Any fan of Nike and Jordan should read this article. It's one of those things that makes you feel like you could save the world, or at the very least, the shoe game.
