Bad news....

Bad news is funny. Not hilarious by any means, but more so ridiculous...especially when it hits you at 3:30am. What's even worse is when you feel that you can do nothing about it. I know I'm being very vague right now, but it's for a reason. I just want to end with saying this: having peace, not in a hippy kind of way, but in a spiritual, internal way, needs to constantly be searched for; It's too easy to lose control and do somethin crazy.

Cut&Paste 2D Design Contest: Test Round

Today I participated in Cut&Paste's 2D Design Contest Test Round. We were given 15 minutes to design, and 2 nights ago they gave us a theme to design for: Bliss. You can read the rest of the rules here, but it is pretty nerve-wrecking...people looking over your shoulder, a guy continuously saying "ten minutes left guys"...."5 minutes left guys", etc. But it was a cool event. I think I did well, but we'll see if I made it to the actually tournament...The main tournament is gonna be a lot bigger than what you see below (this was in the back of a clothing store).

(This is a video that I saw a couple of weeks ago that explains more of what this contest entails)

On the way back home, I saw this kid in the 42nd street subway station....Crazy:

Bounce Back

In church two weeks ago there was a guest speaker by the name of John Carter. During his sermon he spoke about people's ability to bounce back is key to their peace and their growth. Bounce back, meaning how quickly you can recover.

A couple of years ago, in the Sunday before Super Bowl Sunday, Terrell Owens broke his ankle...he played in Super Bowl Sunday. I'm sure he got things injected into his ankle, but that doesn't discount T.O's training and workout regimen. He trains all the time...and he's able to recover very quickly because of how conditioned he is.

Consistent reading of the bible and praying should be how we train. Reading and praying prepares us for the unforeseen things ahead. It also allows us to understand that if we ask for forgiveness of our sins, we will be forgiven. And that allows us to walk without that heavy burden of guilt, pain, and hurt on our shoulders. It's time to bounce back, and keep it moving.

Nintendo 64 Remix

This kid is ridiculous on his own, but in the remix he's even crazier.

Whopper Jr.

This is old, but still good...I don't think old whoppers are good, but these commercials are at least.
